Not many to speak of. I did get to work with a few new technologies that is all.

Cons

Low Pay, No Vacation, No Benefits, Contract, Found a way better higher paying job will full benefits shortly after I left. Have to be certified and keep it update to keep job.

TEKsystems San Francisco: I had a highly productive working relationship with this office whilst living and working (as a contractor) in the San Francisco Bay Area. They were accessible, attentive and very good at moving their contractors from one assignment to the next. I had increased my technical knowledge and skill set a great deal during my relationship with this office.

Cons

TEKsystems Los Angeles: a relocation to Los Angeles meant working with the LA office, which I was initially excited about give my experience with the company so far. Regretfully, my elation was ephemeral as it was an entirely different experience altogether. The staff members were nice enough, sure, but collectively they failed to land me as much as an afternoon assignment. Instead I was subjected to what can only be described as disorganized, unnecessarily circuitous and bizarre interview processes with a couple of companies in the LA area, both of which amounted to absolutely nothing. I had also been pitched a couple of other jobs only to have them taken away before I could manage to get the words "tell me more" out of my mouth. When I first contacted the LA office from SF, I had been told that I would not be out of work very long given my history with the company. This, too, proved to be false.
