Good opportunity to gain valuable skills, if you like drinking and partying this is your place.
Cons
You work well over 50 hours a week. They'll tell you there's a work life balance, but if you don't work a 12 hour day you're looked at as being a weak link. This is no place to work while trying to raise a family. Senior management is a joke and they REDUCED comissions twice in the three years I was there. The consultants they hire are simply bodies, yes they take you to lunch but the way they talk about them is a joke. If you don't make a happy hour you'll be considered not "TEK" material or "culture" positive. The pay, oh the pay is a joke. I more than doubled my salary just by leaving, and I still make more in comission than I ever did while at TEK. They've outgrown their family roots and now they're operating like big business, they don't care about you, period!!! You think you're family but then you realize that you're talked about and even DBO's (basically business opereation managers) join in the bashing of employees, so sad and pathetic. There's a TON of turnover at TEK.
