      Great Experience, lousy feedback once contract was complete.

      Pros

      During Contract, wonderful communication, and check in's by Manager at TekSystems. Facilities placements, were welcoming and consistently pleasant to be at. Worked with management between the site and TekSystems, which made the job extremely enjoyable.

      Cons

      Once the contract was over, never heard from anyone at the company.

      Great Company, Hard Work (But what success comes easy?)

      Pros

      Great People - company cares about your personal well being - a lot of out of office events. Work/Life balance (after you have estabilished yourself - expect to work hard the first few years) Great company to start a career and learn business skills Reputable organization, privately held Team environment, yet still competitive. Potential to make great $ while helping IT Profesionals with their careers.

      Cons

      The industry/job itself can be tough. There is a bad stereotype out there for recruiters and you are always the "middle man." It can be a roller coaster ride as people tend to put you in bad business situations on a regular basis. Must be resilient, good problem solver and not take things personally. TEKsystems does have some micromanagement that can be frustrating but the reality is that all sales companies are number based and the "micromanagement" does help make sure you are NOT in a position where a few months in, you are out of work because you didn't hit your numbers. If you are doing well and bringing in sales for the company, there is less micromanagement, so just work hard and smart!
