      Pros

      As an employee, you are pushed to set personal and professional goals and then pushed towards hitting them. Management takes ownership, shares feedback in a professional manner and works really hard to ensure that their people are invested in. Training is ongoing both in the office and at corporate headquarters. TEK hires from within so career groth and opportunity is available to everyone that walks in the door.

      Cons

      This is an industry that requires its employees to be "plugge in" a lot of the time. I don't know if it's my personality or the industry, but I find myself replying to emails after business hours quite often.

      Pros

      Always paid on time. Teksystems can put you in contact with clients that they have exclusive contracts with that you otherwise wouldn't get into.

      Cons

      If you have a question about what Teksystems can do for you, the answer is always "no". No benefits. No holidays. No overall compensation plan. No paid time off. No sick days. No advancement. No career growth. No contact with lower or upper management. No contact at all. No room for negotiations. No competitive pay. No annual raises. No bonuses. The short answer is that Teksystems business model is to deliver the lowest possible labor bid to an employer by cutting as much away from the employees as possible. Honestly, you're better off going in as a private contractor under your own s-corp, or as a 1099. Otherwise you're just letting Teksystems skim 30% off your salary for absolutely nothing.
