      When your contract company treats you better than your home company...

      Pros

      Regular paychecks; you get left alone to be managed by the contracting customer; little to no interaction with your representative - some may see this as a benefit.

      Cons

      Lack of support. Lack of career growth. When the contract is up, you're gone, and Tek Systems just doesn't seem to do much to help you find that next project - at least from what I've seen first hand.

      Pros

      Big company with connections to many clients. Networking with clients and consultants is one of their key benefits. Networking to recruit potential consultants is their strong point.

      Cons

      The TEKsystems management team lacks strategic vision for the company. Communication throughout the entire management structure is all but nonexistent. Employees/consultants really don't know what's going on with the company.

      TEKsysytems is always looking for qualified people and can place people in the right position for their skill set and tries to keep employees with work.

      Cons

      Difficult to answer. I have a unique situation where I have already had a career and taken an early retirement package after 28 years. I'm interested in salary compensation in lieu of benefits
