      Pros

      Although relatively new, I find the environment fun and laid back. Work gets completed without anyone breathing down your neck. A good laugh is encouraged! Words of encouragement are often given (at least from my persepctive) which I find, OBVIOUSLY makes people happy but also makes them want to perform even better and beyond their expectations/capabilities.

      Cons

      Like I said, I'm new so I'm still waiting for all heck to break loose but so far, so good!

      Pros

      TELUS is a great place to work the people are all very nice and the management is good. The cellphones are good and so are the salary and benefits. i would recommend it to all people looking for a job in Western Canada without hesitation, I like very much all the good things that they provide to their employees and would work for them again in the future. Work life balance is often stressed and telus is a good corporate citizen with their programs encouraging volunteering and participation in your community as well as donating money to charities in your community.

      Cons

      It is easy to get driven in work and not think about outside life. The building does not have new everything but it is really good. I would think that other places have much more downsides to their working environment. Managers are nice and I would not have a problem coming back to telus. They treat their programmers really good and provide good bonuses. Also their benefits are very good, even considering what other companies in canada are providing. Sometimes their techniques are quite old and not everyone is technically up to date on the latest innovations and that causes some problems.
