Pros
Free snacks and drinks. USB ports on the wall outlets in the break room, which is nice for a quick recharge.
Cons
Management is a joke. There is no communication between upper management, the Team Leads, and the rest of the floor. There is blatant favoritism. They will tell you that there are chances for growth, but it's a lie. They will pull you along and then tell you that you're not qualified enough, or that you don't meet some arbitrary minimum requirement that the others in that team don't have. If for some reason they have a problem with you, they will not give you any warnings whatsoever. They will go straight to the firing stage without even letting you have a word in or argue your case. They will also not tell you this personally, but they will actually just give you a call. Regarding health care, it's all overpriced for how little the pay actually is. You would think with a contract as huge as Google's, they would actually pay as much as the other call centers in the area. The building they currently have has absolutely no parking except at the very outer extremities during the week. And if you work during the weekend, they shut off the A/C. In Texas. In the summer. They recently went around fixing this by having it on, but only until around 2PM. Hope you like the smell of food, perfume, lotion, and stinky feet. The desks are really cramp, the seats are not comfortable at all, they use an actual physical phone, they have swung the PCI-compliant pendulum so far that you're not allowed pen or paper at your desk, nor physical books. They treat the reps like children. Even going as far as getting board games and legos "in case you get bored" during dead times. And heaven forbid you work night shift because they don't pay a night time differential. Team Leads will constantly threaten reps with their job because everyone else's numbers are low. It's no wonder this place has such a high turnover rate.
