      Pros

      Flexibility to have work life balance. Learning new things. The people here are great and it's rewarding to help where it is needed if they need you.

      Cons

      Closing of Denver location has lead to people lacking motivation. Lots of Organizational changes like restructuring departments and elimination of jobs. Multiple restacks / restructuring within months from one another that lead to failures in the business. It is difficult to implement changes that matter here. People are resistant to new changes and the future of TIAA It's all becoming unstable overall. All the changes made within the last two years have benefit the executive team who you hear nothing from until they start pulling the rug from your feet and the work you do.

      Pros

      I worked at TIAA for 4.6 years, and overall, it was a great experience. I had good opportunities for growth and felt appreciated for my work. The management, especially in the Nuveen departments, was fantastic — very supportive and focused on maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The kind of support we received during the COVID period was truly exceptional and something I’ll always be grateful for. I’d definitely recommend TIAA to anyone considering a role here.

      As for cons, I personally didn’t face any major issues during my time here. Like any organization, there may be occasional challenges, but nothing that stood out or affected my experience in a negative way.
