      Flexibility to work from home.

      Cons

      Management incompetence and micromanagement rule. Managers are overbearing and concerned more about contractors' turning in status reports and filling in timesheets than about much else.

      TISTA is an incredible place to work! The team is super supportive, professional, and always ready to collaborate. Goals are crystal clear, so you always know where you’re heading. The benefits? Absolutely top-notch—amazing healthcare, generous 401(k) matching, and an excellent PTO policy for that much needed Rest and Relaxation. Leadership is inspiring and down-to-earth, offering guidance that makes you feel valued and motivated. Plus, the effort you put in never goes unnoticed—you’re rewarded fairly for your hard work!

      Cons

      The remote work setup means we don’t get as much face-to-face time, but the company makes up for it with regular town halls and an awesome annual team-building trip to HQ. These have been a great way to build better relationships and have fun with the team you work closely with.

      Pros

      Uhhhhh, what pros? It started out okay, I suppose. By the end, it was an absolutely toxic dumpster fire.

      Cons

      The company lost the bulk of their contract portfolio during re-competes, which led to laying off over a hundred employees with little notice and no severance. Further, anyone associated with these lost contracts now has negative narrative surrounding them on their resume because senior leadership fumbled the contracts so hard. I use the term "Leadership" very loosely here, as they have no idea how to lead. That's how we got this far. What more do you need to know?
