Pros

The interview process was a piece of cake. Most of the managerial staff were quite friendly.

Cons

Not enough hours being given out. A lot of favortism was going on. managerial staff weren't always encouraging or responsive. I felt very unappreciated after being with this establishment from the ground up.

Pros

The work is easy. If you are a people person you will survive. I enjoy working in the back room unloading trucks.

Cons

Empty promises. I have worked at TJ Maxx for 5 years and have been made promises that were not meet. I graduated from college 2 years ago with an associates in management. I was told that I would have an interview with the district manager for an assistant manager position. I am still waiting.

Pros

Flexible schedule. You even can change your availability every 3 weeks or so.

Cons

Favoritism. You wonder why the management doesn't give you enough hour as a part timer (they often gives you only 4 hours a week or even nothing at all), and you notice there are some people get more (could be 20 hours a week). You know you are very good. NEVER MIND. It's like-dislike kind of thing!
