Employees quickly become well versed in their field of work. Ability to make or request changes. Employees have ownership of specific tasks or projects. Diversity of tasks so boredom or being pigeonholed is not an issue.

Cons

Many different projects occurring simultaneously so juggling multiple tasks at once. Sometimes working for multiple project managers so determining priority can be difficult.

TORC has fostered a Team mindset. Everyone works well together and respects each other. There are many tight deadlines but everyone works well as a team to develop amazing software, products and services. TORC is at the cutting edge of technology.

Cons

The company is growing rapidly which requires a lot of change management. But the leadership is committed to the employees and is doing well at managing the company through this exciting period of growth.

Never bored. Work with smart and passionate people. Company has invested in coaching for employees and improved communication compared to previous years through 1:1’s and Town Halls.

Cons

Need to work on celebrating wins as a team (winning teams is the core value of the company) and continue to grow and develop leaders from within.
