      Senior leadership preventing success

      Pros

      Good people and intelligent engineers at the lowest levels.

      Cons

      Leadership gets in the way of the company's success through constant reorgs and time/energy/focus wasting efforts. CTO acts childish and defensive when these concerns get raised and has acted in retaliation to at least one valuable employee voicing safety concerns.

      - pay is good and free benefits for employee - flexible work arrangements - Working level is filled with good, smart and driven people

      Cons

      - Employees are not empowered to make decisions due to excessive finger pointing. - VP level and above, especially the CTO, is disconnected and lacks people/communication skills. -Infighting on priorities that never ends because even small topics require endless escalation. - Senior leadership says one thing and does another. No one trusts anything they say. - Massive leadership egos that get in the way of solutions and pragmatism.

      Pros

      There are so many good things about Torc, including the pay, some very, very smart and driven individuals, a desire to have fun while working hard, and the mission.

      Cons

      The culture is changing, and the negative weight of this change is so thick you can feel it. To achieve our fantastic goals, we have to trust each other and be a collaborative team. I've seen the rise of a blaming culture, led mainly by one powerful individual on the C suite. Toxic genius is what comes to mind. Torc needs to consider if it's worth it.
