      Pros

      Interesting work. Lots of potential.

      Cons

      C-Suite manages by knee jerk reactions. Inconsistent decision making. Resign at end of a month!! If you give 2 weeks notice, typically they kick you out immediately (pay you for the 2 weeks), don't let you say goodbye to anyone, AND they cut off your health care coverage the day they kick you out! Happened to me and I saw it happen to others who gave notice before me. Not a very nice way to handle people who do the right thing when leaving a company. Resigning doesn't mean you hate everyone, it just means you found a better fit for your career - stop punishing people who leave, it's just mean!

      Great team(s), employees are top notch Above average pay and benefits for the Blacksburg area Management constantly trying to improve

      Cons

      Sometimes tedious work Overqualified for some jobs I took Some with is funded by military, so you should be ok with having to do that

      Pros

      Torc is a great day paced company to work for with exciting work and the chance to travel.

      Cons

      A lot of work is expected and working on the cutting edge can be frustrating for the engineers. Small company so not a lot of room to grow.
