Pros

-They had decent health benefits, versus out-of-pocket cost, than other companies at the time. -If management likes you, you will go far. -You will have lots of opportunity to learn, though often it will be how NOT to do certain things.

Cons

-Every position is dead-end unless you are part of the "good old boys" network, or if you're "lucky" enough to be recruited into the Corporate office. -There is no work-life balance at all. Management pays lip service to it, but otherwise scoffs at the mention of "burnout". -If management doesn't like you, they will criticize you for every little thing. -If you are LGBTQ+, expect micro- and macro-aggressions, and otherwise poor treatment by management and co-workers alike. ---Doubly so if you are transgender. About 5 years (or so) ago a management employee transitioned on the job, and not only did they immediately start experiencing gaslighting, abuse, and unfair treatment, but I heard quite a lot of talking and mockery behind their back. They endured this treatment for over a year before they finally left. -Expectations are unclear and change on each manager's whim. -Most managers are promoted from the production floor, without any apparent leadership training.

Pros

Unlike some other companies in the automotive industry, there are not regular layoffs. They really make an effort to keep people employed. Benefits are good and work schedule is flexible. For most employees, there is a paid shutdown the week of July 4th and Christmas.

Cons

The automotive industry can be cyclical in nature. Some times are very busy and other times are not.

Pros

In general, good people to work with. Good health benefits, but they have suffered over the years. Above average pay. Bonuses given when company performs well as a whole. Tied to Honda at the hip, which is a good thing. This creates certainty of on going work/orders.

Cons

The company use to feel like family. In my latter years, it had changed significantly. Management is not open to listening to employees. At Tech longevity is given too great of consideration versus actually doing a good job. It's who you know, not what you know.
