Pros
Family owned company and that means your family is the most important thing here if your kids are sick and can’t make it to work they understand somewhat.
Cons
No holiday pay unless you work over 6 hours and that’s how you only get $50 for holiday pay, no sick days paid, most of time if you break down they try to find a way not to pay you. Detention time supposedly starts after 2 hours but if it’s 2 hours 45 minutes the will not pay it for the 45 minutes. Truck services take hours and not paid . Retirement not very good you have to put 6% for them to match 3% while most companies match 100% up to 6%. No pier diem. Drivers are only getting 42 cents per mile regional pay national average 56 cents per mile.
