Join TSMC if you like challenges and self-growth in your career
Pros
I’ve been working for TSMC for about one year now. There are pros and cons here like any other company. My first impression after three months at TSMC was feeling challenged but fulfilled. All challenges forced me to learn and understand the diversity in this company. I don't necessarily agree with the work culture 100% but I do respect the challenge that TSMC is facing in establishing a Fab in a foreign country from the ground up. If you like challenges and self-growth, TSMC will provide you with that in your career path plus great compensation and benefits.
Cons
There were many unexpected tasks and responsibilities that popped up during my training in Taiwan. Luckily, I had great team support from both Taiwanese and my current teammates.
