Disappointed and not recommended for people who's interested in joing semi field
Pros
Pretty nice opportunity to go to Taiwan to experience different culture, and that's it.
Cons
1. Long working hour and poor work life balance. Working hour is usually at least 1 hr longer than the working hour that is written on the contract, and without getting pay for overtime working. This situation is considered as normal by lot of employees and the management in the company, which is insane. 2. Poor training plan. They don’t systematically training plan, just teach you whatever that pops out their head, and expect you to remember everything they taught. 3. Operating system and software are outdated, and are not organized. It takes so much time to find and remember the software, and it’s not straightforward at all. These unorganized software eats up most of working time and lower the working efficiency. 4. Poor benefits. They declare you’ll get 100% reimbursement or benefit for things like relocation. However, these reimbursements are paid to you as your income which you’ll need to pay tax for the reimbursement. They never mentioned that part, and it actually feels like scam. 5. Poor dormitory management. Everything breaks easily and maintenance team doesn’t do anything about it. Water leakage, sewer smells last for couple months and still not fixed until today.
