Pros

-Pay is good if you can get an S+ or higher on annual review. (I=bad, S=mid, S+=above average, O=outstanding , top 5%) -Opportunities to do projects -Fast paced environment -Process Engineers learn a lot of statistics and the job 'can' be rewarding

Cons

-Extremely poor training. If cannot learn yourself, this place is terrible for you. I've worked at 2 other Fortune companies and this was the worse by far. No structure, no/few document management systems, no system of change, and general poor organi -No Hope of Hybrid schedule - Management has made it very clear they will not introduce a hybrid schedule anytime soon.

We realize that it's not always smooth sailing but we're making a conscious effort to make improvements as we progress. We welcome ideas that can contribute towards operational efficiencies, including training. Pros

A place to grow your career and has good job stability. A chance to work with many competent engineers and learn.

Cons

Schedules are tight and the expectation is that you will work overtime to make up for management's overcommitments. If you don't work overtime, then socially you will become a pariah in your section. As you are increasing your colleagues workload by not working overtime. Everything you do is micromanaged. Even emails to external vendors must be approved by management 2 levels above you. Social pressures to work longer. Vacations and breaks are not encouraged, but are challenged by management.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re committed to creating an engaging work environment that's uplifting and supportive for all our employees. We’re disappointed to hear that has not entirely been your experience. Regarding work hours, to fulfill the demands of customer deadlines, working in a fab environment may require more than an 8-hour day at times. We do our best to offer employee benefits and programs that help balance work hours and the pressures that may come with some roles. If you're open to sharing ways in which we can improve operational efficiencies to better workloads, please feel free to speak directly with the Human Resources representative assigned to your department, or leverage the “Ombudsman System” tool, which can be found within the Employee Voice Channels page.
