      Decent total compensation package. Adequate.

      Cons

      This is a pay to play environment. If you are not a yes man, you are out. OSHA and County will get in there someday and it wont be nice for TSMC.

      Pros

      - Excellent pay and competitive benefits. - Hard work is noticed and can even be rewarded with bonuses — your effort doesn’t go unappreciated. - Tons of free training and opportunities to learn new skills, both technical and professional. - Being part of one of the top semiconductor companies in the world is rewarding in itself — you get exposure to cutting-edge technology and processes. - Some managers are fantastic and supportive, others I’ve heard are less so — it depends on the department for now.

      Cons

      - High stress and very fast-paced. It’s not the place for someone who prefers a slow or easygoing work environment, but that comes with the territory of being at the top of the industry. - Language barriers can be a challenge at times (a large portion of the workforce speaks Chinese), but you can usually work around it and still get things done. - Management quality varies — I’ve had a great experience personally, but I’ve also heard of less positive experiences depending on the department.
