      Pros

      Great place to work with incredibly intelligent, dedicated people at all levels from administrators to executives. A well run company

      Cons

      Challenging to learn TSMC's unique lexicon--it's acronym hell taken to a new level and then some on top of that! Working across business units is a must and not easy to execute--not impossible but the constantly changing landscape makes it something extremely challenging to successfully execute an agenda.

      Pros

      Leading semiconductor manufacturing company with strong culture in innovation. Senior management is quite strong. Based in Taiwan, but recently start to raise its visibility in China.

      Cons

      In terms of technology, TSMC is still following footsteps of Intel. TSMC's main strength is in cost-down and very carefully crafted expansion strategies; not in ground-breaking innovation.
