Pros

one of the world's leading semiconductor company to work for. Good if you're starting out in this industry as the exposure is superb.

Cons

the work life balance is practically non existent. be prepared to put in hours of extra work and don't expect to be seen as hardworking as that's the norm in the organization.

Pros

one of the best companies in terms of job security. A normal/low level of knowledge is enough to get a job in tsmc, but you need to have good university degree.

Cons

work hours are too long. Appraisal and career growth is not transparent. The culture is like the employee should do whatever the manager gives. Even if everyone knows that its non-sense, you just need to do it. When the company is in loss, they will cut employee salaries. But, when company is in higher profits, they will not give any extra profit sharing bonus.
