Pros

Lots of different opportunities from desktop support positions to server and network maintenance. Opportunities for residency positions. Willing to hire less experienced individuals and provide lots of training and mentorship. Great place to start a career.

Cons

Not a lot of upward mobility as far as management positions or leadership roles internal in the company. Covid-19 Vaccination mandatory. Lower salary baselines because of willingness to hire less experienced people and train.

Thanks for taking the time to provide us and the Glassdoor community your insights into your time with us. You make a great point — opportunities. We provide near-countless growth opportunities through our Rockstar U training program, and also provide opportunities through our Boot Camp program. We conduct extensive market research constantly to ensure the compensation offered is as good as it possibly can be — if it wasn't, we'd constantly be losing out on the best employees, but we're not — there's a reason that we're considered by some of our clients as being the best kept secret in the IT space. We try our absolute best to be as competitive as possible with our pay and compensation, but there are times in which the pay is dictated by client bill rates — but again, we try our hardest to advocate for the best possible solution for both employee and client. On the hand, there are a number of other aspects that our employees love — the aforementioned benefits, our 401K program, our Seeds to Leads program, our free training and certifications via Rockstar U, and especially the flexibility. Furthermore, to counter any pay discrepancies, several years ago we put into place a system to notify our management team of an employee who has not had a pay increase in the previous year. As a direct result, the number of employee change forms being submitted and approved last year with just under $1M in merit increases being awarded to our deserving employees. Thanks again for your time and your insights — they are greatly appreciated!
