Responding the right way for an evolving market

Pros

Beyond the reasons many have shared on Glassdoor about the surface-level benefits of the company (the flexibility, the retirement plans, the coffee...which is great, BTW), the company is also making great strides in how it evolves along with the ever-changing landscape of the market. Some employees' reviews, both current and former, seem to hinge on the fact that this is not the company it was when they started. There's never really any sort of justification for their claims, but having been in the workforce for a number of different and large companies over the years, my perspective is that in order for a company to continue to grow and be successful, it has to evolve — and change scares some people.

Cons

No one forces anyone to work for this or any other company — people can easily forget that. Therefore, if I felt strongly enough to complain about something anonymously online, I wouldn't choose to continue working here. It's a good place to work!

Thanks for taking the time to provide us and the rest of the Glassdoor community such a well thought response — and thanks for being one of our #TSProckstars! You raise some valid points. We try our best to maintain the facets that we started with — a family run and oriented company, but if we intended to be around well into the future, like all companies, we need to be able to respond and adapt and evolve with the ever-changing market. Furthermore, communication is key and we always strongly encourage all employees to have regular conversations with their managers. Thanks again for being one of our #TSProckstars and we look forward to the future along with you!

Thanks for taking the time to provide us a review of your time with us at TSP. We do our best to remain as competitive across the market with our benefits year after year, and we're proud of what we're able to provide to our employees. Furthermore, we also do our best to be as competitive as possible when it comes to pay. With that said, some of that is dictated by client bill rates and we're constantly negotiating with our clients. As such, advancement opportunities don't always present themselves on a constant basis when placed on-site or with a customer. As with many instances, we strongly encourage every employee to maintain constant communication with their managers, especially if you're looking to advance in your career with TSP. Thanks for being one of our #TSProckstars — we wish you all the luck in the future!
