Pros

TSP was a great learning experience, with ample time off, and a good work ethic

Cons

do NOT go to a single man site. This is what had made me leave. This along with the fact that the paper industry is a dying industry. starting a career in this field would not be a smart decision for the future.

Thank you for the feedback. Single resource sites are definitely challenging both for the employee onsite and our company. We strive to never make anyone feel like they are out on an island, but it sounds like we still have some work to do. You mention training and we couldn't agree with you more. Just last year we hired a full time trainer to completely revitalize and reinvigorate our training program and are excited with the initial outcomes. It sounds like you've changed industries and we wish you the best and appreciate your time and dedication while at TSP!

Pros

I worked for them for 4 and a half years. They worked me hard but treated me well and with respect. They had good raises and really decent benefits.

Cons

All of their sites are basically remote sites and their clients have control over work conditions and expectations. The TSP manager can try to help but there is only so much that they can control.

Pros

Little to no IT requirement to start out.

Cons

Almost no opportunities to advance or specialize. Raises can be 5 intervals and still nominal. Overvalued hire-ons receive higher pay, with notably lowe value to team goals.
