You hit the nail on the head and something we strive to instill in everyone that we recruit - TSP provides you with more than a job, it offers you a career. There are lots of jobs out there, but finding a company you can grow with and become better professionally and personally is something special. Thank you for recognizing that! Thank you also for the advice to management of listening and connecting with the employees. Listening is at the heart of what we do for our clients daily, but a reminder to listen to our employees is always great advice. We often say our product is our people. We fully understand that without our employees, we don't have a company. Thanks for your time with our company and we hope you stick around to experience even more of our growth and change!

Pros

It's a smaller company that's growing quickly. So nows a good time to get on board. Management is pretty well structured I think. While top dog positions are tough to come by and few and far between (field service managers and up) you can move up fairly quickly from the bottom with hard work and giving a damn. The operations coordinator position is below field service manager (that's the real big gap). Coordinators are younger people and the pay is pretty solid for what seems to be a lot of 20-low 30 something year old people. The stand out people move up. Bumps in pay at the bottom are small but consistent if you are good. I recommend it for good young people aiming for management and techs just looking for experience. Seems to be the sweet spot.

Cons

Tech pay is average but not bad. Moving up past coordinator is tough. Long lines for field managers. It's a long haul thing.

Let me first say thanks for taking time out of your day to provide feedback. As a current employee you know we always listen to our clients to truly understand their needs and we definitely want to listen to our employees. You are right, we are growing and while we always want to maintain that small company vibe, we have to create new roles and layers to accommodate our growth. The one constant is change. Our talent management and senior leadership team is continually looking at how to best serve our employees and our clients. The coordinator role is a newer role we created to help our management team remain flat and accommodate our growing employee population without having to add a lot more managers and overhead. We do recognize this creates a "real big gap" and we are reviewing this role and the career paths for our employees. We sincerely appreciate your comment about "hard work and giving a damn." We believe in rewarding our employees who work hard and providing opportunities that challenge them not only professionally, but personally as well.

Pros

I have been with the company since 2003 and had the privilege to be in the management team not long after that. I am very happy that I am part of the team and looking forward for more years to come. Throughout the years there were lots of employees that have made it to the top management chain of command because of their abilities not because they were related or best friend to the owners. In fact those that are related to the owners worked the hardest in my opinion. The company is Non micro-managed work environment, employee Empowerment Company. TSP is a place where management teams believe in people to learn, to teach, to grow, and to get things done.

Cons

Never during all this time have I experienced any negative that is worth mentioning. The Pros are outweigh the Cons by far.

Thank you so much for this valuable feedback and acknowledging TSP is a company that promotes from within, not because of bloodlines or friendships, but because of abilities. We have to challenge you though...there's got to be a con somewhere along the way. We'd love to hear how we can improve. Lots of great things have happened at TSP in our short history; however, it hadn't been without a few missteps here and there. We like to believe we are a better company because of those missteps and learned from them each time.
