Pros

The paid training was a good perk, About a month's worth of paid training before you actually go out to the call floor. There was actually a pretty good health care plan for job. You got automatic pay raises the longer you were there all the way up to $10/hour then there was a cap. There was a big break room with all kinds of vending machines for your lunch hour.

Cons

Your scheduled lunch and breaks were different every single day and if didn't adhere to the exact schedule, you would have to flex it past your shift to make up for lost call time. You were always monitored. Had to follow a strict code of conduct when speaking to customers, who are sometimes very irritable. And it's not hard to violate that code of conduct in my experience. In order to be promoted to a different department that has nothing to do with the call center floor, you have to start with taking the calls first. Everyone that works there and has been promoted to a higher position that doesn't have to take calls has taken calls before.

Pros

It was a great place to learn. I was part of a very professional, caring team, even though I was initially a baseline office-based Technical Support Associate. They acknowledged my proactiveness and arranged an effective promotion for me. The quality department was very good. There were resources devoted to technical testing. I think this is because I was part of a very big client partnership. Salary was very good - incentives were excellent. People were extremely nice to collaborate and-or have fun with. They offered me a new position until the very last minute (while the project I was involved with hit a sudden end).

Cons

They left from Argentina, sending office operations to the US under a work-from-home model. They were not able to sustain a highly qualified team. Operations became unpredictably expensive for them. Work was stressful and repetitive.

Pros

There isn't really any good reason to work for this company that I can think of. The only real reason I can see any one would want to work there is because they are desperate for a job. I guess that is a pro. They give jobs to people who are desperate.

Cons

Management all have inflated egos and its kinda like trying to break into the good ol' boys club. Very little room for advancement. Employees are expected to be like sheep conforming to some managers wishes. Any type of constructive criticism is looked at as a threat and employees who come up with new ideas are put in their place accordingly. Its like telling a child "because I said so" instead of teaching the child why they should not do whatever it is they are doing. Constantly lost in the shuffle and then being treated like a less than adequate employee. Horrible place to work.
