Pros
Cost of living is good, area is beautiful. People are friendly in the area. Chattanooga is fun city. Traffic is good. BBQ is good.
Cons
Diversity is non existent. If you are a female, you are going nowhere, see many good female managers leave (in fact almost all of them). I do not think there is even a glass floor here let alone ceiling. Nuclear, where I work, is the worst. Work weekends, night shifts, no one even acknowledges you exist or says thank you. I know I get paid but I feel like a commodity not like a person.
