      Pros

      Pay is good. Benefits are great.

      Cons

      Leadership is not worthy of the name. They will lie, misinform, and backstab. They fail to provide direction and then blame employees when things inevitably go wrong. The CIO especially is a viper.

      Pros

      TVA is good for the region, has solid benefits, pay, and many great people. Improvements have been made in adopting good values, investing in diversity, and in improving safety.

      Cons

      Internal TVA culture often exists in a bubble that is behind the times and very vertical. TVA has a management-heavy culture where managing up is the game and employees refer to the perpetual cascading reorganizations as "weather" that is just as likely to be good as it is bad or neutral. Other than official broadcasts communication often occurs peer-to-peer through necessity. TVA aspires to change but progress is slow in this respect.
