If you're looking for an easy-going job, this is it. I work at the call center for Talbots and it's a very relaxed atmosphere. They generally treat you well and are considerate to the fact that it is retail.

Don't work here if you're trying to look for a job to pay the bills. This is the part time job to the part time job to the full time job. Basically, it's good for gas money and going out every once in a while.
Strong ethics and team building atmosphere; excellent manager leadership and, of course, the discount.
Cons
Requires too much personal information gathering by associates of shoppers. Cultivating friendships takes time and one cannot expect this to happen from note-taking and prodding. Expectations of client interaction and follow-up cannot be done within working hrs. And the pay is not in line of company's expectations.
