Pros
There are few pros left at Talbots. Management has taken away the important benefits (quality health insurance, pension, etc.) Discount used to be a pro--but now with all the promotions employees can wait til there is a promotion equal to their discount. Coworkers are the best pro--you end up being friends with most of the women you work with. This includes management.
Cons
Little consistency in what the "mission" is. A phone call can totally change what the day's plan is. Cutting hours--with little or short notice and this usually ends up with shoplifting incidents because they can see the store is understaffed. Corporate doesn't have a clue as to how the stores operate.
