Pros

Lovely clients and co-workers. Thoughtful (overworked) manager

Cons

No path to advancement, full-time status or pay raises. (ageism?) No benefits for part-time workers. Lack of role clarity from management regarding the client specialist role and no team-wide communication. No real respect for part-timers. It seems like less desirable schedules (late night closing shifts, weekends) are given to those who don't complain

Pros

Great focus on HER... incredible customers and spending time with them is a true joy! The company has a program around making sure the customer experience is better than anywhere else she might go.

Cons

no work life balance. double weekends are demanded. operations are so heavy it's difficult to give the customer the focus that the company itself wants the customer to have. Pay is low and there are no raises. payroll is very low - and managers can't make their bonus unless they cut staff to the bare bones.

Pros

Nice people. I cannot think of anything nice to say other than I had a great manager.

Cons

Talbots does not appreciate their employees. In over 5 years, a dollar raise was all I got. That is with a promotion as well. It was all about getting credit cards
