Pros

Pay and benefits for this area, but you will work for it. Decent work conditions at corporate and nuclear site but much change ahead.

Cons

No corporate structure or vision since leaving PPL and has only deteriorated under new owners. No work-life balance. Do not recommend for young families or millennials. Very cut throat environment. People are leaving left and right for good reason.

Pros

The salary and benefits are great, though benefits have been declining/getting more expensive and raises become harder and harder to come by. Generally speaking, co-workers are very good people and enjoyable to work with.

Cons

-Upper management is completely out of touch with what is actually happening at their generating facilities. -Most corporate functions are moving to Texas, despite the fact that most of the generating units are in PA/MD/NJ -Communication is absolutely non-existant -Uncertain future, both due to environmental pressures and management/company outlook -Little to no room for advancement as downsizing continues; extreme favoritism is applied in the few promotions that do occur -Absolutely no effort to retain the good people working for the companay
