Great benefits and good coworkers, leadership has no healthcare experience.

Pros

Benefits are great, coworkers are nice to each other. Working from home is great, too. Fast paced if you like that type of work.

Cons

Leadership knows next to nothing when it comes to healthcare, meetings consist of explaining basic healthcare concepts and best practices. Policies are not followed or shared with departments when made, when policies are made they are made without knowledge of the impact of the practice and patients alike. Communication is zero between departments. Input/feedback is never heard.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and are happy to hear you appreciate the benefits package. Being a startup allows us some opportunities to address real problems in mental health care and we're dedicated to making a difference. We're sorry your experience hasn't been what we would hope, but we take feedback like this seriously. Your input can help inform new ways of moving forward. Thank you.

Pros

Insurance benefits are okay I guess

Cons

Everything is horrible from the management to both of the CEOs! Don’t believe the good reviews because they are fake and force to be written. They aren’t real experiences. Anything with 3 stars or less are actual depictions of what an experience working at Talkiatry truly is. You will burn out! They will not listen to your input. The physicians working at here actually care about the patients and their wellbeing but the administrative staff do not. I’ve had patients cry on the phone because of the poor service that talkiatry provides. This company is truly horrible and they do not care about their workers. Please do not apply unless you’re truly DESPERATE for a job. If you are a clinician of any sort (Psychiatrist, MHC, DO, NP, MSW, etc.) do not apply because they Will neglect and stress you out! If you care about your mental health please I’m begging you, do not apply or accept a job offer. RUN!

The most toxic place I have ever worked

Pros

The mission of this company is spot on and so needed in the current environment.

Cons

They fall down in execution. The Operations organization is highly dysfunctional and comprised of individuals with little to no healthcare operations background. What can Uber bring to healthcare? Sr leadership dictates and does not listen to front-line staff or mgmt who are experts in their discipline. Run from here if you can.
