Pros

Opportunities to work on projects are great! Tanaq gets awarded many different types of contracts, and they seem to try to keep their employees and find the right contract for them. As an Alaska Native Owned corporation, the profits of this company go back to the Alaska Natives. It is motivating to know that the contract work we do not only helps our customers, but the Alaska Natives as well.

Cons

Like any job, how enjoyable and successful depends on who you work with. The project I'm working on has too many politics for someone with my paygrade to navigate. No performance reviews or feedback to help employees grow.
