Pros

Small, lean team to be able to have more one on one coaching in real time. Also, having the ability to implement new ideas and work both client and candidate business was appealing.

Cons

Support from the top down. This may depend on division, but you're only as good as your leader and your ownership and I feel that was a failing point.

Thank you for your review! Our teams vary in size based on the division and office, but no matter the location or size we do our best to support each person so that they can succeed. We have a significant technology budget to support the growth of our firm, as well as memberships and contracts with the major job boards, as well as niche job boards. Technology is often changing, and there is always room for improvement, so I appreciate your comment. Edward Fleischman, CEO

Pros

The younger people at the company are pretty nice, easy to get along with and are probably feeling the same way you are.

Cons

This company is awful. They hire new grads who need jobs and don't properly train them/ are not transparent about what the job entails. They facilitate corporate training for three days and throw you on the phones and expect you to know what you're doing and be able to drive effective results in your first few months. My team training was to "listen to other people on the phones". Not efficient or effective. The management is impatient and are so tenured that they can't see beyond the Execu-Search horizon. After ending my employment they made me feel worthless and like I was just a number and a waste of their time/money. During my employment I felt like they did not want to invest in my capabilities or really help me understand what my job function really was. It was a truly disappointing experience.

Thank you for your comments. We hire employees with all types of backgrounds, including recent college graduates. We have the capability of hiring recent grads and staff with no experience due to our thorough and professional training programs, which consists of a full week of learning about our firm and the nuances of the recruiting and staffing industry, as well as ongoing training throughout the year. We value our employees and do our best to make sure they are succeeding, so I’m sorry if you did not have a rewarding experience. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
