      Leadership rules with iron fist. Gaslighting is a daily occurrence.

      Good people but CEO not so great

      Pros

      The people are smart and collaborative, and most employees take ownership of their work and strive for the best results.

      Cons

      CEO believes he is the smartest person around, so he's not open to other ideas and ends up micro-managing most things in the company. Management is firing people go all over the company, even good performers, but not calling it a "lay-off" because they don't want the publicity.

      The individual contributors are all very motivated and great to work with.

      Cons

      Management has gone from cultivating a culture of collaboration and doing the right thing to a very corporate harsh culture. Layoffs are happening and the employees left are being asked to take on new roles and duties without an increase in compensation or any job duties being taken off their plate. The teams left are quickly hitting burned out status. The team is struggling and can't do the right thing for the customer anymore.
