      Pros

      Significant investment in onboarding experience/training for new hires; outstanding base salary and equity; Very smart and competent team members; Technology leaders are very knowledgeable about the industry and the products; Product likewise is extremely knowledgeable about the products and high-level architecture and work very closely with engineering; Innovative and amazing architecture and mature pipeline and release management technology

      Cons

      Only real benefits weakness I've seen so far is that the 401k match is a little below standard but the base salaries I've encountered are above market standard so that offsets things quite a bit.

      Technology is great but they can't get out of their own ways of doing business.

      Cons

      The expense policy in this company is the most restrictive back to the 1980's philosophy of per deem. if you travel for work whether in sales or other GTM role expect to invest 10-20% of your own pay in travel expenses that will not be approved even if needed or necessary

      No Psychological Safety

      There's no psychological safety at Tanium. The more senior engineers often "test" new employees, and they take what seems to be immense pleasure in publicly pointing out, in abusive and demeaning ways, when someone makes a mistake. This behavior discourages questions for fear of further abuse. Teams are very cliquey. Those who "pass" the tests are included in social activities, others are excluded. If you're in the "in" club, you're much more likely to have a successful career at Tanium.
