      Pros

      Strong engineering teams and some of the most wonderful employees I’ve ever had the chance to work with. Platform sell that has strong partnerships / alliances. Great pay and stock options.

      Cons

      Lacking in sales leadership. “Good-old-boys” club feeling with executive team. “Module fatigue” is felt by many customers and prospects alike. Internal operations hard to navigate for the size of company (should be easier). Many burned customers from pre-2018 days.

      - Solid leadership - Effective engineering management - Innovative, semi-scrappy, fast-paced culture - Welcoming to new folks - Healthy / non-toxic engineering culture - Exciting projects and upcoming opportunities - Outstanding benefits and pay - Minimal politics - Remote-first culture After spending over a decade working for some of the biggest names in tech, transitioning to Tanium has been more than a breath of fresh air - it's been one of the best career moves I have made to-date. The culture is noticeably warmer than what you'll find at the Googles and Metas in the industry. Everyone is authentic and genuinely invested in one another's success, which holds true for new hires and existing employees alike. To add, the product itself is game-changing and something I feel proud to stand behind as an engineer. All in all, I can easily say that being a part of the Tanium team has gone a long way to restore both my own passion for what I do and confidence in the tech industry in general. 10/10 recommend!

      Cons

      There have been a few toxic teams in the past, and a few may still exist that I am unaware of. But what sets Tanium a part from other employers is its leadership's investment in the employee experience, and their willingness to take action to fix less-than-ideal situations in constructive ways. Which speaks volumes about the company's core values (in a positive way, that is).
