Pros

They pay part of your lunchdepending on your position

Cons

Always short handed. Get off late most days. If you are short handed, you work extra weekends and holidays with no extra pay. Micro management and quota of pt expected to see. Not enough help to accurately do the job. Medical staff can sometimes be difficult to work with or not have someone second guessing or trying to do your job. The pay is comparably lower even after 2 market increases. Cant get applicants to apply. Prospective employees turn the job down due to low salary.

Pros

Benefits, oppurtunity , fast pace

Cons

Poor training and management . I have never left a job before . This one was hard to fit in with the employees and most importantly my manager never welcomed me. I was incredibly excited about this oppurtunity and experience . I like the atmosphere. Just needs some improvements to make it a better working environment .

Pros

Exposure to all sides of pharmacy. Very hands-on.

Cons

The staff was very difficult to get along with, if you are not a part of the "group". Each tech had their own way of doing things, which made it very difficult to a new tech training. My boss did not work directly with me most of the time, and got her input from the other techs and pharmacists, so it was very easy to throw me under the bus. I had one tech who felt it was her duty to let me know that she hated it there, and to "dish the dirt" on all of her co-workers. They just accepted her bad attitude without any repercussions. I also had to work with one pharmacist who had a very critical and negative attitude all the time. This pharmacist was the one responsible for critiquing me. She was constantly criticizing nurses, and pretty much anyone who did something wrong in her eyes. She was not afraid to share her criticisms with the whole pharmacy. She even did my one month review with me (instead of my real boss) in front of the whole pharmacy, not in private.
