      competitive pay when compared to other health facilities in the state great incentive pay for overtime and pick-up shifts flexible work schedule less rules/regulations when compared to other facilities

      always short staffed hostile work environment manager messes up your work schedule most times not a diverse workplace

      Pros

      Pay is competitive. Benefits package is average. Health insurance is good. Schedule and work environment can be good, depending on the unit you work in.

      Cons

      Chronically understaffed. Every shift expect to work at least one RN short. At the time I worked there a lot of shifts we would also only have two, occasionally one, nurse tech for a 24 bed telemetry unit. Management doesn’t care how many extra shifts you pick up, they will still call you daily asking if you could pick up another because every unit is always short staffed.
