      Pros

      Small patient load allowing for care and compassion. The low work units

      Cons

      There are an abundance of fresh out of school nurses that dont even know how to put a pulse oximeter on. This creates confusion especially when they think someone is desaturating when they really arent. Also there are no pulmonary physicians on site even thought this hospital accepts alot of patient with pulmonary comorbidities and chronic lung issues. They do not allow the therapists to intubate here.

      Coworkers are great and really try to support one another.

      Cons

      The pay is too low for the work you’re required to do. Management doesn’t listen to feedback. The benefits could be a lot better.
