Pros

Great team environment. Friendly people, people who have worked and served the company for a very long time. Once was a great functioning retailer in Australia with strong marketing presence.

Cons

Unfortunately due to the merger with Kmart there is little to no support from senior leadership for Marketing, and the company seems to lack an understanding of its identity in the market and retailer landscape. This makes it tricky to do the job well, with changing goal posts, and there is little to no risk taking or pivoting to better ideas. Leadership lacks a spine to make strong decisions.

Pros

It was nearby, with spaced out shifts.

Cons

Was hired with 15 other people so I was never trained properly. Didn't know what I was doing half the time and just walked around the store cleaning.
