Pros

The work is ok, you get to own the store as in help towards profits. Your attitude to the job makes a huge difference. If you’re keen to do well stay happy then it’s up to you to make that happen. You will get the support of you aim high enough. Don’t just be a number

Cons

In small towns crusty stale team members who have had the same job their entire lives and won’t leave, they are huge problems. Left without correct management they end up thinking they run the store even if they don’t have management titles. Verbal warnings aren’t enough for these kinds of people, fired on the spot is the only way of managing toxic staff members. HR do what they can and so do upper management. But these staff members can be hard to get rid of and bully new team members till they resign. Get rid of these cancerous workers and let the smaller stores shine to their full potential. Green is a colour we all like and we would all see more of it if the trash got taken out. That is the only thing I can fault about Target, the rest is set up for success if that’s what you want
