Pros

Coworkers are generally nice and friendly to talk to, they will be what makes it worth coming into work. As with most retail jobs, good pay rate as a casual for the work that you do.

Cons

Management can be very disorganised, but this differs store to store. Management of a store can often be pressured to reach ever higher sales goals, which is then put upon staff members, really unhealthy working environment. As you get older, the amount of shifts you get becomes worse and worse, and some weeks you'll receive none, you're not at all valued as an employee or person. Marketing position is amorphous at the moment, they want to be like Myers when their target market is more similar to Kmart, and so they occupy a sort of no-man's land and don't appeal to anybody.

Pros

Quality Products Friendly Staff Great Discounts across several companies It's a great place to work, if you are a student. Most people realize that working there for a year or two, is the most beneficial Any longer, and 90% regret it.

Cons

Constant CEO changes & company structure changes No career progression available due to cost, even when you're more than qualified You can see yourself doing more work than management, and getting paid no more Bullying can be evident by the older employees of the store Understaffing when budgets are not met Huge employee turn over with casual staff members Store morale is extremely low at certain stores
