Pros

As a casual you a flexible in when you want to be available to work. I took a month long holiday didn't have any issues beside putting that into our online system that I was unavailable to work for those days.

Cons

When I came back they hinted at some changes that had happened during the huddles that we have before the shift starts but never gave any further information. I have found that once year you need to do a bunch of knowledge review courses online but they never tell you when it available to do it until its too late. So I could then go weeks without a shift and then they bring me in for one shift just to tell me that I have to do this knowledge review course, before I can work again which is very frustrating.
