Pros

The in store staff are almost all great to work with and have a generally positive attitude. If you show you're a competent worker management is happy to give you flexible hours with more or less work. You won't be bored, there's always something to do.

Cons

Upper management for the most part does not respect lower level staff or what they do. Upper management tend to micromanage stores, changes are made in stores constantly without giving anything time to work. A number of decisions that upper management make, are clearly not for the better and made by someone sitting behind a desk.

Pros

There's always something to do so you won't be complaining there isn't any work. Its good they have a cafe on site, because there isn't much around the area.

Cons

This has to be the worst company I have ever worked for. Management are all over the place, with constant changes, lack of direction and a culture of blame. There are so many people trying to do the same thing at once no one knows who is taking responsibility. IT systems are poor, outdated and slow. GM's and other senior leaders take no accountability for anything, speak poorly to staff and some even shout at other staff members. I've seen people in tears in the office because they are so overworked, and don't have the resources to do their jobs. Meetings are full of people who speak loads of buzzwords and catch phrases, and you often come out wondering what the point of the meeting was. The turn over is ridiculously high with all my colleagues frequently talking about wanting to leave and desperately trying to find another job. HR are rumoured to do some very immoral things to try and make people resign if they need to cut head count.
