Pros

Under-performance provides ample opportunity to get involved. I worked in several parts of the business and

Cons

Many young and inexperienced senior leaders, that provide very weak direction across the business. HR presence is very weak. Turn over is very very high, with people across nearly all departments leaving every week.

Pros

- great team members - good retail experience - easy tasks - makes you look good saying you worked at a big company like Target - uniform is nice - discounts at all coles group stores (target, coles, office works, etc.) - flexible hours - fun tasks - fun events and campaigns - team celebrations/events (christmas parties and Kris Kringle, New Years parties, birthday lunches and deserts left in the tea room, etc.)

Cons

- pay is low compared to other retail places - retail experience is limited to covering department store retail, not fashion/boutique retail - some (SOME) managers can be a pain - sometimes gives you too many or too little hours

Pros

salary and ethos are good. Customer 1st is good focus. There is now a good future direction for brand, but a lot of pressure is put on teams by ceo. The products are good and service is seeing a good turn-around due to recent initiatives. Yet to see if trend will continue as most of the time service just dies a slow death or TSSO runs out of budget to continue the team momentum.

Cons

red tape. New ideas don't even get looked at. There is never a budget to do things and you are never allowed to talk openly to senior management. Teams in head office work extremely long hours - especially in opps yet never get any thanks or recognition.Staff turnaround in TSSO is also very bad.
