They do not care about you or your life outside of work. I had to call off a shift after attempting to reach my higher ups via email, I had to miss work in order to attend a MANDATORY SCHOOL PERFORMANCE that affected my SCHOOL GRADES. When I received no reply to my emails and called in the day of in order to call off, I was given a very aggressive speech about how I should rethink my decision in having a job if I’m choosing to do other things instead of work. A graded performance is not a choice, it is a requirement to pass my class and I made attempts to let them know prior and to have my training shift rescheduled. Absolutely no respect for their employees.
