Pros

Very good health benefits and retirement plan. College credit reimbursement program.

Cons

Pay scale is not where it should be for a law enforcement agency. Especially for the officers that deal with inmates.

Pros

The insurance coverage is exceptional. I had a baby by C-section and was in the hospital 4 days. My co-pay was only $600 for the entire delivery.

Cons

Typical issues with government entities, office politics and people afraid to make decisions that were outside the norm.
