Pros
1. Good for fresh grads to have a feel of corporate culture. 2. Good for people reaching retirement in few years. 3. Salary on time - come what may.
Cons
1. Impractical processes. 2. Very slow decision making. 3. Don't want to change themselves as per market standards. 4. Not for career oriented people looking for growth - they will spoil it by giving false commitment about your growth. 5. Very long working hours - overnite work during month ends. 6. Expensive products and they will make you sell at gun point without giving any support. 7. Rude and careless Sr. Mgt 8. No value addition to ones career except for Tata name which will be a big hindrance when you would want to change as Mkt sees you as "Sarkari Babu" 9. Company running into losses due to unwanted fixed overheads and Sr. Mgt keep reminding you that as excuse for anything. 10. Very high attrition at senior and middle level. 11. Frustrated employees. 12. They will put you in cage and will ask you to fly.
